We’re Back! Metatone to Play Grungefest 2023
We’re so excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Grungefest in 2023! This will be our second time playing the festival, and we can’t wait to rock Glasgow on September 16th at Ivory Blacks.
Grungefest is a music festival organised by the team at Sounds of Seattle and Pearl Jam Scotland on Facebook; This team has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charity. All profits from Grungefest go to Diabetes UK.

Since Grungefest 2021 we’ve written and demoed an album’s worth of material and played a number of gigs in Edinburgh and the Central Belt, sharing the stage with some great bands, including Muddibrooke and Godszoo, who also played Grungefest.
We can’t wait to share some of our new songs with you, and hope to give you an unforgettable live experience!
